Rewilded Wellness
REWILDED Wellness is a podcast about understanding your body in context—and rebuilding the conditions that allow it to become more resilient.
Hosted by functional nutritional therapy practitioner Lydia Joy, the show explores chronic health through a rewilded lens: one that recognizes that human biology cannot be separated from the environment, rhythms, nourishment, relationships, movement, stressors and lived experiences continually shaping it.
We have access to more health information than ever before. We can use functional testing to look at our minerals, microbiome and bloodwork; explore our genetics and hormones; track symptoms; research every pathway; and accumulate increasingly complicated protocols.
But more information doesn't always create better health.
REWILDED Wellness asks a different set of questions:
What is your body doing—and why might it make sense in the context of what you've lived? What conditions does it need now? And how do we rebuild greater capacity without turning your entire life into another health protocol?
Through personal stories, client observations, functional nutrition and explorations of physiology, Lydia brings together topics including gut health and the microbiome, HTMA and mineral balancing, chronic health patterns, perimenopause and women's health, nervous system function, nourishment, movement, environmental health and our relationship with the natural world.
Functional testing and targeted interventions can absolutely have a place here. But they aren't the destination.
The goal is to understand patterns rather than chase individual symptoms, work with the body rather than continually override it, and gradually rebuild the conditions that support greater resilience.
Because rewilding your health isn't about returning to some imaginary perfect past.
It's about remembering that your body is part of nature—and learning how to work with it again.

In this podcast episode, I brought Cailee Anello back on the podcast just in time for the anniversary of our first episode together last year (Episode #7) . Cailee is a human design reader with a background in psychology and homeopathy, she also trained with the Nutritional Therapy Association. Having spent the last 8 years immersed in natural healing and the divination arts, her expertise lies in being an objective observer and intuitive guide for those who have become disconnected from their bodies and their purpose on the planet. She has a unique ability to make abstract concepts tangible and applicable to everyday life to facilitate the healing of mind, body, and soul.
Cailee and I talked about the past year, how understanding your own unique energies can save your energy and stress. How listening to ourselves is crucial to live our own successful life. How to tune into our unique bodies and natural cycles so we can make the best choices day in and out, instead of trying to live a robotic 24/7 structured, always 'ON' way of life.
Human design is like a fast track to your authentic self - enjoy our conversation it was dynamic and fun!
